Ten Vital Reasons the World will not End in 2012

Reasons the World will not End in 2012

Ten Vital Reasons the World will not End in 2012

December 21st 2012 – a date that is well known globally. Several hundred years ago, the Ancient Mayans predicted the apocalypse on this very date. With their 5,125 year old calendar resetting itself to 0.0.0.0. on this date, many are preparing for the worst. However, how legit is the prophecy of the Mayans? Here are the top ten reasons why the world will not end in 2012:

1. The Earth would run out of resources and energy.

There is no danger of energy depletion for the Earth. The available energy is self generating, continuous and unlimited. Furthermore, there is no chance of the universe enclosing, retracting and finally exploding resulting in destruction on December 21st 2012. This scenario is expected in 500 billion years. I am pretty sure our generation would have passed on by then.

2. There is a possibility of the earth coming to an end in 2012.

However, truthfully there is also a probability of the end being today, tomorrow or 5000 years from now. There is no proper method of finding out when the apocalypse will take place. These prophecies are only based on assumptions and predictions with no scientific proof.

3. The Mayan culture disappeared long before their calendar ended.

The Maya may have an been advanced race in astrology and mathematics; however, they were not so proficient in their predictions. They might have foretold the end of life in the year 2012, but they could not predict the disappearance and demise of their own culture.

4. The Mayan Calendar resets itself to 0.0.0.0.

Just as the calendar in your house ends after December 31st, so does the Mayan calendar. This does not mean that the Earth comes to an end with your calendar does it? The end of the Mayan calendar just means that the Mayan long-count period will end and another one would begin; just as your new calendar for the year would.

5. According to scientists, the Earth is going to go through a magnetic polar switch quite soon.

This assumption is predicted to cause utter chaos and destruction, which will possibly lead to the extinction of life. However, scientists have found out that the Earth has faced this issue 380, 000 years ago. Life clearly did manage to pass this problem, so it is likely we are to survive through it again.

6. Nostradamus predicted the end to be as a result of an asteroid smashing into the Earth.

Recently, an asteroid has been spotted and found its way into news. The 900-foot wide asteroid, named Apophis, is believed to make its next close approach soon…in 2029! Even then, the collision probability has been downgraded to 1 in 250, 000 chance. There is another possibility of an uncharted asteroid or comet appearing out of the blue at any time; however, Earth-killing impacts have been millions of years apart. It is pretty obvious that our generation would no longer be in the picture in the next million years.

7. One of the most popular issues brought up by scientists is the increase in the number of solar flares. This problem would lead to satellites melting and eventually lead to a global catastrophe.

This is quite a load of rubbish as the sun goes though a well-documented 11-year sunspot cycle which is driven by its magnetic field. Although the next cycle is assumed to be 30 to 50 percent stronger than the last peak and is predicted to be in the year 2012, it is certainly not the highest peak recorded.

8. The planets will align in a way that impacts the Earth

To date there is no possibility of a planetary alignment for the next few decades. In addition, Earth will not cross a galactic plane in the year 2012. If this planetary alignment was to take place, scientists have found that their effects upon the Earth would be negligible. Each December the Earth and the Sun does align with approximately the center of the Milky Way Galaxy; nevertheless, there has been no sign of impact or consequence due to this process.

9. The origin of the Armageddon prediction in the year 2012 began with the story of Planet Nibiru smashing into the Earth.

A supposed planet discovered by the Sumerian, the theory of the Earth being destroyed in 2012 began with the prophecy the planet Nibiru clashing with the earth. Although initially predicted for May 2003, the doomsday date was postponed to December 2012 as nothing obviously happened. Ironically, both tales were linked to one of the cycles in the Ancient Mayan calendar that ends in 2012. This is an internet hoax! Amongst many other fibs; if a planet, asteroid or comet was heading towards the earth, astronomers would be definitely keeping track of them. Astronomers have found a dwarf planet similar to the size of Pluto known as Eris; however, this planet will remain in the outer solar system. The closest Eris can come in proximity with the Earth is 4 billion miles, which I believe is quite a lot of distance.

10. Finally, if the Armageddon is predicted to be on December 21st 2012, then why is my car warranty dated to May 2013?

There are many reasons the world will not end in 2012. Many of the predictions out there appear to be hoaxes as stated earlier. With the internet, it is easy to make up a bunch of rubbish and pass it around. Do not be fooled into these lame prophecies as it would only bring you worry. The Mayans did not predict the end of their calendar due to death and destruction on the Earth; instead they assumed a period of tribulation or spiritual change. Death and disaster is a daily activity in life. So live each day as the last, because the end of time cannot be predicted.

Planet Nibiru

Planet Nibiru

With latest technology, it is not difficult to look out into Space. Not only can astronomers search for solar systems and stars, they can also look out for any asteroid or comet heading for the Earth. However, recently one of the strangest objects have been caught advancing to the earth; the Planet X. NASA discovered the mysterious planet in 1984. However, historians have found that Planet X was depicted in tablets and wall carvings that date back to the Sumerian civilization. The Sumerians referred to Planet X as Planet Nibiru. Furthermore, the Planet Nibiru was claimed to be authentic according to a Wisconsin woman known as Nancy Lieder. She claimed that as a girl she was contacted by extraterrestrials known as Zetas, who has supposedly implanted a communications device in her brain. In doing so she received information from these aliens about the coming of Planet Nibiru. So what does Planet Nibiru have in relation to Armageddon prophesied in December 21st 2012? Furthermore, why is this issue a target for criticism?

On December 21st 2012, Planet Nibiru is expected to pass between the Earth and the Sun which would cause a gravitational pull. This pull is expected to stop the Earth’s rotation which would in turn result in a 90 degree positional or polar shift causing a shock wave of radiation from pole to pole. On the arrival of Planet Nibiru, all satellites and communications links are expected to fail. Scientists are unable to determine whether the planet would collide with the Earth at the moment. In the event it does, it is pretty certain a polar shift would not be the only cause for concern.

However, there are skeptics that claim that there is no such planet as Planet Nibiru. The prophecy concerning the Armageddon is based on other issues such as the ending of the Mayan calendar. Most believe Planet Nibiru is an internet hoax. Nancy Lieder supposedly claimed publicly that the Earth would face destruction with the coming of Planet Nibiru in May 2003. However, as soon as the date passed she had to postpone it conveniently to December 21st 2012.

As with all the prophecies regarding the Armageddon in 2012, Planet Nibiru is certainly one to take note of. Since the existence of the planet has come from different sources and ancient civilizations, it is possible to class it as a legit prediction. Until the actual time comes, there is no way of predicting which of the prophecies are true. The best way is to research on them more and prepare yourself for the worst.

Nostradamus Prophecies

Nostradamus Prophecies

Nostradamus, a great medical doctor and famous astrology, is renowned for his prophecies about the future. Born in 1503 in Saint Remus, France; Nostradamus is still known for his predictions 500 years later. After the prediction of the fall of Napoleon, World War I, the fall of Hitler and the September 11th attacks, many people began to believe in his prophecies. Moreover, many deem his prophecies about death and destruction for December 21st 2012 as accurate. You might be rather alarmed from these predictions. However, many of the doctor/astrologer’s prophecies have also been rather erroneous, such as the prediction about Planet Nibiru smashing into the Earth in May 2003. Furthermore, it is quite reassuring to know that the Mayans did not predict the same fate for life as Nostradamus did.

One of the recent topics in relation to Nostradamus’ December 21st 2012 prophecies is Nostradamus 2012 book. Authors are not alone in agreeing with his predictions made long ago, many psychics also believe in this ancient Rosicrucian’s theories. Since Nostradamus accurately predicted World War I and World War II, many believe that Nostradamus’ prophecy of World War III in the year 2012 would come true. On the other hand, many believe Nostradamus’ prophecies for 2012 to be rather drastic, especially when comparing it to the Ancient Mayans.

Nowadays, almost everyone around the world is aware of who the Ancient Mayans were. With time running out on their long-count calendar for their fourth period on December 21st 2012, several people combine Nostradamus’ 2012 prophecies with the end of the Mayan calendar. So is it possible that the Mayans predicted the same fate for the Earth as Nostradamus did? There are countless arguments against this. Nowhere in Mayan writings have they suggested war and destruction. Known for their accuracy in calendars, the Mayans implied the world was to enter a time of transition from one World Age to another. This view might be indefinite in its explanation, but definitely suggests a more contented prophecy that Nostradamus predictions for 2012. Some suggest that Nostradamus’ prophecies are not clear.

Are Nostradamus 2012 prophecies even meant to happen on December 21st 2012? Some argue that there is no factual evidence to prove that Nostradamus predicted death and destruction, and the end of days on December 21st 2012. Since he is no longer alive, it has made the solution to his prophecies rather difficult to obtain. Although Nostradamus did predict certain events that actually occurred, it is quite difficult to believe in information these days. With the influence of media and theorists who want their voice to be heard, it is possible that these prophecies are not reliable anymore.

It is not right to disregard Nostradamus’ 2012 prophecies as being fallacious; however, keeping your mind open to all the theories put out there for December 21st 2012 would be the best way to prepare yourself for what is to come. Nostradamus had a bunch of prophecies that were accurate as well as an equal amount that were inaccurate. Although it is difficult to predict whether Nostradamus 2012 prophecies would come true, it is best to know all the information.

How Will the World End

How Will the World End?

December 21st 2012: the doomsday date according to many astrologers and scientists around the world. Many believe that this particular date would be as a result of human acts; whereas others believe it to be an act of God. With the countless number of theories out there, it is rather difficult to predict what is to take place. Although no one knows when or how the end of days would take place, it is best to be prepared. Here are 3 possible ways Armageddon could take place:

1. The most popular belief when it comes to the end of the world on December 21st 2012 is the end of the 5,125 year Mayan calendar. The Mayans are an ancient civilization skilled in mathematics and astrology amongst many other talents. Furthermore, the Mayans were well known for their accuracy with their calendars. They believed that time progresses in the form of cycles. They predicted that the world would enter a time of tribulation on December 21st 2012; thus, suggesting a time for spiritual change. However, there are those who believe in a more destructive end.

2. In alliance with Nostradamus’ prophecies about December 21st 2012, scientists also believe that the apocalypse is to be one filled with a lot of chaos and destruction. From economic turmoil to natural disasters, life (both man and animal) would suffer. Moreover, scientists predict the number of solar flares on the sun to increase in number in the distant future. In the event this takes place, satellites will be destroyed causing a global meltdown. Unfortunately, with the current state of this world, you will find that these prophecies predicting disaster has quite a large number of takers. Moreover, many of these disasters have been predicted by religion

How will the world end

3. There are many religions that predicted that life on Earth would come to an end one time or another. When taken in collaboration with the points mentioned earlier, it gives light to each other. Although several religions have not stated when the exact date would be, many suggest similar prophecies to ones suggested by scientists and astrologers, such as war and natural disasters.

There are two ways to handle the future: either accept it or deny it. With denial you have  to take each day as it comes; however, if you learn to accept it you can prepare yourself for what is to come. At the end of the day, there is no way of avoiding the inevitable. There is no way to know when the exact doomsday date would be with the countless amount of unreliable information out there, but preparation is the key to making the future better.

Reasons the End of the World is Not on December 21st 2012

The End of the World is Not on December 21st 2012

The infamous date: December 21st 2012. The date predicted so far for the end of the world. Apparently the world was supposed to end many times before, with the last two dates predicted to be the dawn of year 2000 and May 2003 (when Planet Nibiru was to totally knock out the Earth). However, since these events did not take place according to what was predicted, December 21st 2012 is the next target. With the recent technology, an awesome film has also been created. Although the events depicted in the movie are rather over exaggerated, it has certainly made an impact around the world. However, there here are three reasons:

1. The End of the Mayan Long Count Calendar

The prophecy of the end of the world on December 21st 2012 first began with the Ancient Mayans. Several hundreds of years ago, this skilled society predicted the apocalypse through their Long Count calendar on this particular date. This calendar also comes to an end on this date. Furthermore, the Mayans have been interpreted to predict that the Earth will face a galactic alignment during the winter solstice, which have got experts assuming it will come to an end. However, is this really the case? Skeptics are now saying that this probably does not mean the end of world being on December 21st 2012 but rather simply a calendar just coming to an end. You have to ask yourself one question, “If the Mayans could predict the end of world is on December 21st 2012, why could they not predict the end of their civilization?

2. Nostradamus and Planet Nibiru

Oh Nostradamus and his predictions. Accurate as they are, Nostradamus does not predict a date for the end of the world. Although he did predict the coming of Planet Nibiru (as the Mayans predicted too) and the coming of the antichrist, he does not say in his quatrains that the world would end on December 21st 2012. Furthermore, he has written quatrains that have predictions till the year 3797. If the world is to end in the year 3797, I am pretty sure we would have left this world by then. His predictions might definitely hint that the world is to face a war, as it has done in the past, but it is not proof enough that the world would end.

3. The World Should have Ended by Now

As said earlier, the world was supposed to have ended many times before. Here are a few dates when the world should have ended:

  • Year 2000 – The Y2K, the world’s technology should have disrupted.
  • May 2003 – Apparently Planet Nibiru was going to strike the earth according to some scary aliens.
  • The Jehovah’s Witnesses predicted the end of the world in 1874, 1878, 1881, 1910, 1914… (Yes, the list keeps going).
  • Eli Eshoh predicted the world would reach its end on June 6th, 1998. Unfortunately, the world still continues to exist.

So many tales will come out in the future about the end of the world. In reality no one can ever predict it accurately, not even the latest technology. Keep an open mind and do not get into a mass hysteria just because people assume the end of the world to be on December 21st 2012. Be prepared for the future. Life on Earth has existed through many problems before; we would not go out without a fight for sure.

2012 End of Days: Psychic Predictions

Psychic Predictions

Psychic Predictions

Psychics are renowned for their analysis or predictions for our lives. Although some have known to fake it, there are a few good psychics out there that are quite accurate in their intuitive traits.

With the recent prophecies with aspect to December 21st 2012 being the end of days, psychics are now coming out to confirm how precise these predictions are. Many have stated their own psychic predictions with regard to this specific date. These psychic predictions tend to be mostly about death and destruction, such as the prediction about World War III. However, there are psychics that regard the end of the world as more of a spiritual change rather than being destructive.

Nostradamus was one of the most influential astrologers of all time. Born in 1503 in France, Nostradamus was a medical doctor that believed he had the innate power in astrology. Most of his predictions have been accurately foretold, such as the fall of Napoleon and Hitler, World War I and World War II, and September 11th attacks. However, Nostradamus has yet another prediction to come about: World War III. Nostradamus predicted that World War III was to come about during the year 2012. This war would be a religious war compared to the other World Wars, with the coming of the antichrist himself. The world would inherently suffer for 72 years and then find restart with a new Golden Age. Other psychics support the theory of war and death on December 21st 2012. However, there are those that perceive a more peaceful theory.

The Mayans were a civilization skilled in mathematics and other traits. However, they were illustrious astrologers. They were responsible for creating calendars based on time and astrology. They believed that humans have gone through four worlds. Each of these worlds so far has ended and a new one has begun. On December 21st 2012, the Mayan long-count calendar depicting the fourth world would come to an end. Although everyone attributes the termination of this calendar to be the end of days in 2012, the Maya never predicted an awful ending. Instead their writings implied a spiritual change and a time of tribulation. This theory has been supported by many psychics today.

It is quite difficult to stick with one theory with the many predictions made about December 21st 2012 end of days. However, no one will know for sure the consequences of this particular date till the time arrives. Psychic predictions have known be accurate; nevertheless, there are many a time that their predictions have not come true, such as the Y2K Millennium and Planet Nibiru smashing into the earth on May 2003. Thus, it is best to prepare ourselves for the events that would take place. The end of days does not have to take place in 2012, it can happen as soon as tomorrow or later in a 100 years. It is time we stop being selfish and take care of the Earth that has protected us so much.
