Ten Vital Reasons the World will not End in 2012

Reasons the World will not End in 2012

Ten Vital Reasons the World will not End in 2012

December 21st 2012 – a date that is well known globally. Several hundred years ago, the Ancient Mayans predicted the apocalypse on this very date. With their 5,125 year old calendar resetting itself to 0.0.0.0. on this date, many are preparing for the worst. However, how legit is the prophecy of the Mayans? Here are the top ten reasons why the world will not end in 2012:

1. The Earth would run out of resources and energy.

There is no danger of energy depletion for the Earth. The available energy is self generating, continuous and unlimited. Furthermore, there is no chance of the universe enclosing, retracting and finally exploding resulting in destruction on December 21st 2012. This scenario is expected in 500 billion years. I am pretty sure our generation would have passed on by then.

2. There is a possibility of the earth coming to an end in 2012.

However, truthfully there is also a probability of the end being today, tomorrow or 5000 years from now. There is no proper method of finding out when the apocalypse will take place. These prophecies are only based on assumptions and predictions with no scientific proof.

3. The Mayan culture disappeared long before their calendar ended.

The Maya may have an been advanced race in astrology and mathematics; however, they were not so proficient in their predictions. They might have foretold the end of life in the year 2012, but they could not predict the disappearance and demise of their own culture.

4. The Mayan Calendar resets itself to 0.0.0.0.

Just as the calendar in your house ends after December 31st, so does the Mayan calendar. This does not mean that the Earth comes to an end with your calendar does it? The end of the Mayan calendar just means that the Mayan long-count period will end and another one would begin; just as your new calendar for the year would.

5. According to scientists, the Earth is going to go through a magnetic polar switch quite soon.

This assumption is predicted to cause utter chaos and destruction, which will possibly lead to the extinction of life. However, scientists have found out that the Earth has faced this issue 380, 000 years ago. Life clearly did manage to pass this problem, so it is likely we are to survive through it again.

6. Nostradamus predicted the end to be as a result of an asteroid smashing into the Earth.

Recently, an asteroid has been spotted and found its way into news. The 900-foot wide asteroid, named Apophis, is believed to make its next close approach soon…in 2029! Even then, the collision probability has been downgraded to 1 in 250, 000 chance. There is another possibility of an uncharted asteroid or comet appearing out of the blue at any time; however, Earth-killing impacts have been millions of years apart. It is pretty obvious that our generation would no longer be in the picture in the next million years.

7. One of the most popular issues brought up by scientists is the increase in the number of solar flares. This problem would lead to satellites melting and eventually lead to a global catastrophe.

This is quite a load of rubbish as the sun goes though a well-documented 11-year sunspot cycle which is driven by its magnetic field. Although the next cycle is assumed to be 30 to 50 percent stronger than the last peak and is predicted to be in the year 2012, it is certainly not the highest peak recorded.

8. The planets will align in a way that impacts the Earth

To date there is no possibility of a planetary alignment for the next few decades. In addition, Earth will not cross a galactic plane in the year 2012. If this planetary alignment was to take place, scientists have found that their effects upon the Earth would be negligible. Each December the Earth and the Sun does align with approximately the center of the Milky Way Galaxy; nevertheless, there has been no sign of impact or consequence due to this process.

9. The origin of the Armageddon prediction in the year 2012 began with the story of Planet Nibiru smashing into the Earth.

A supposed planet discovered by the Sumerian, the theory of the Earth being destroyed in 2012 began with the prophecy the planet Nibiru clashing with the earth. Although initially predicted for May 2003, the doomsday date was postponed to December 2012 as nothing obviously happened. Ironically, both tales were linked to one of the cycles in the Ancient Mayan calendar that ends in 2012. This is an internet hoax! Amongst many other fibs; if a planet, asteroid or comet was heading towards the earth, astronomers would be definitely keeping track of them. Astronomers have found a dwarf planet similar to the size of Pluto known as Eris; however, this planet will remain in the outer solar system. The closest Eris can come in proximity with the Earth is 4 billion miles, which I believe is quite a lot of distance.

10. Finally, if the Armageddon is predicted to be on December 21st 2012, then why is my car warranty dated to May 2013?

There are many reasons the world will not end in 2012. Many of the predictions out there appear to be hoaxes as stated earlier. With the internet, it is easy to make up a bunch of rubbish and pass it around. Do not be fooled into these lame prophecies as it would only bring you worry. The Mayans did not predict the end of their calendar due to death and destruction on the Earth; instead they assumed a period of tribulation or spiritual change. Death and disaster is a daily activity in life. So live each day as the last, because the end of time cannot be predicted.

Planet Nibiru

Planet Nibiru

With latest technology, it is not difficult to look out into Space. Not only can astronomers search for solar systems and stars, they can also look out for any asteroid or comet heading for the Earth. However, recently one of the strangest objects have been caught advancing to the earth; the Planet X. NASA discovered the mysterious planet in 1984. However, historians have found that Planet X was depicted in tablets and wall carvings that date back to the Sumerian civilization. The Sumerians referred to Planet X as Planet Nibiru. Furthermore, the Planet Nibiru was claimed to be authentic according to a Wisconsin woman known as Nancy Lieder. She claimed that as a girl she was contacted by extraterrestrials known as Zetas, who has supposedly implanted a communications device in her brain. In doing so she received information from these aliens about the coming of Planet Nibiru. So what does Planet Nibiru have in relation to Armageddon prophesied in December 21st 2012? Furthermore, why is this issue a target for criticism?

On December 21st 2012, Planet Nibiru is expected to pass between the Earth and the Sun which would cause a gravitational pull. This pull is expected to stop the Earth’s rotation which would in turn result in a 90 degree positional or polar shift causing a shock wave of radiation from pole to pole. On the arrival of Planet Nibiru, all satellites and communications links are expected to fail. Scientists are unable to determine whether the planet would collide with the Earth at the moment. In the event it does, it is pretty certain a polar shift would not be the only cause for concern.

However, there are skeptics that claim that there is no such planet as Planet Nibiru. The prophecy concerning the Armageddon is based on other issues such as the ending of the Mayan calendar. Most believe Planet Nibiru is an internet hoax. Nancy Lieder supposedly claimed publicly that the Earth would face destruction with the coming of Planet Nibiru in May 2003. However, as soon as the date passed she had to postpone it conveniently to December 21st 2012.

As with all the prophecies regarding the Armageddon in 2012, Planet Nibiru is certainly one to take note of. Since the existence of the planet has come from different sources and ancient civilizations, it is possible to class it as a legit prediction. Until the actual time comes, there is no way of predicting which of the prophecies are true. The best way is to research on them more and prepare yourself for the worst.

Nostradamus 2012 Doomsday Prophecy: Is it True?

Nostradamus 2012 Predictions

Nostradamus 2012 Predictions

A talented medical doctor, Nostradamus was one of the most famous French doctors of his time. Born in 1503 in the small French town of Saint Remus, Nostradamus was more than just a doctor. Being a devout Christian, Nostradamus believed that he had an intuitive power to predict the future. Most would consider these forecasts to be a bunch of rubbish; however, most of Nostradamus predictions have been quite accurately foretold. Nevertheless, with accurate predictions such as the fall of Napoleon, the French Revolution, World War I and II, and September 11th attacks, it is no wonder that people are a bit worried for his prediction for apocalypse on December 21st 2012. However, are the facts true? Nostradamus had several prophecies for the 2012 doomsday, such as World War III, the coming of the Antichrist and several natural disasters. Are these predictions as accurate as he foretells or were these just the ramblings of an old man?

Nostradamus was known for his prophecies through his writings. These are 4-lined poetic verses that are known as quatrains. In his quatrains, Nostradamus predicted the 2012 doomsday to begin with several natural disasters. Furthermore, he also predicted a planet to hit the Earth. Scientists named it Planet X but Nostradamus did not name it. Although it is strange to hear a planet would pummel into the Earth, the Ancient Mayans did predict the coming of a planet which they named as Planet Nibiru. Nevertheless, some experts have found that there is a planet heading near the Earth. However, the word “near” stands for 30,000 light years away in this case. That is scientific terms for you. Nostradamus predicted a disastrous war for December 21st 2012.

Many religions have predicted the end of the world to be plagued with wars and natural disasters. Nostradamus 2012 predictions are quite similar. He also predicted the rise of a World War III led by Antichrist himself through quatrains; 50, 30 and 62. In his 30th quatrain he says, “One who the infernal gods of Hannibal will cause to be reborn, terror of all mankind. Never more horror not the newspaper tell of worse in the past, Than will come to the Romans through Babel (Iraq)”, which seems to imply that the Antichrist would arise from North Africa or the Middle East and bring destruction to the Catholic Church. Furthermore, in his 62nd quatrain, Nostradamus puts forward the name “MABUS” as the Antichrist. Some experts even suggest that it is possibly Obama or the Catholic pope! With his accurate prediction of September 11th attacks, it is quite possible to believe in his theory. However, there are those who claim that his quatrains have been misinterpreted.

There is quite a lot of room for interpretation with Nostradamus’ writings as they never actually suggest a date; rather they are just predictions of the future. Some historians believe that although Nostradamus accurately predicted some events, he did not know when they were going to happen. In Nostradamus’ letter to his son, he admits his prophecies “contain each 100 astronomic quatrains of forecasts, polished through obscurely”. In addition, he admits that these prophecies are “perpetual” and has foretold predictions up to the year 3797. If Nostradamus knew the world would come to an end, he would have definitely not bothered writing more predictions.

It is possible that Nostradamus 2012 doomsday predictions are more of a misinterpretation than anything else. However, since there have been so many prophecies from other sources, such as the Mayans, it is likely that something could take place on December 21st 2012. Keep in mind that there have been quite a lot of predictions about the end of the world. It is possible that many people are overreacting to the situation, hence relating every possible prophecy to each other. Keep an open mind, you never know what to expect. Life on Earth has been through many deaths and disasters; it is possible we will live through whatever is to occur on December 21st 2012.

December 21 2012 Apocalypse: Fact or Fiction?

december 21st 2012

December 21 2012

As long as mankind has existed, there have been predictions on when the end of the world would take place. From the tyranny of Hitler to the well announced millennium, an endless number of dates have been assumed for the end of life. The latest apocalyptic buzz points to December 21st 2012. Many people around the world believe that something destructive and cataclysmic is to occur on this particular date. These speculations have been brought about due to the Meso – American Long Count calendar, commonly known as the Mayan Calendar. Science and religion does play a significant part with this theory. However, there are those that do not believe in the December 21st 2012 Apocalypse as well.

The Mayans are an ancient civilization, known for their excellent mathematics and astrology skills amongst many others traits. On December 21st 2012, the 5,125 year long calendar comes to an end resetting itself to 0.0.0.0. Supporters of this theory also include the various interpretations of Mayan inscriptions in accordance to predict the apocalypse on December 21st 2012. This includes the Popol Vuh, a Mayan book, which contains the story of creation. According to this text, there have been three previous worlds which were failures. Currently, we are living in the fourth world which would end on the same day as the previous world. The Mayans predict that a fifth world is to begin the very next day. Science and religion helps contribute to the theory of the December 21st 2012 Apocalypse.

Some scientists predict the apocalypse is approaching due to a lot of the signs being given out by the earth. In the distant future, the earth is expected to go through a magnetic pole switch. The North Pole is switched to the South Pole. During this period, the earth is expected to face many natural disasters. Furthermore, scientists are also concerned with the increase in the number of solar flares on the sun. If these continue to increase, satellites will be destroyed and power grids cease to work. Moreover, the temperature is expected to soar so high that all types of life would be threatened. Many views of religion can be related to the scientific approach as well.

Many religions state that the end of time is to arrive soon. The Christian Bible believes in the apocalypse being a time of utter chaos and destruction. From natural disasters to the final battle between good and evil, the end of the world is not such a joyful time. The Holy Qu’uran believes the one of the greatest signs of the apocalypse is when the sun begins to rise from the West and sets in the East. This collaborates with the theory of polar switch as the earth’s rotation would be reversed as well. Many relate the religious views with the prediction of the December 21st 2012 apocalypse due to expecting the end of the world to arrive soon. However, many believe that the day of reckoning is not to occur for a while.

Logically, most of these theories are not factual. Numerous scholars, archaeologists and scientists describe the 2012 apocalypse as a pseudo scientific theory. They suggest that the Mayan calendar is severely misrepresented. The Mayans never predicted the December 21st 2012 apocalypse to be a time of death and destruction. Rather they depict it as a period of spiritual and mental rebirth.

There is no definite way to foresee the onset of the apocalypse. Life has existed on earth through many destructive phases; therefore, there are no means of predicting the outcome of any disaster that is to occur. It is best to prepare ourselves for the worst and wait till the moment approaches. However, rather than hiding ourselves in a bunker for the next couple of years till December 21st 2012, we should just live life and be content with ourselves.

Nostradamus Armageddon

Nostradamus Armageddon

Nostradamus Armageddon

Nostradamus: the French astrologer. Armageddon: the place for where the final battle will take place between good and evil. According to Nostradamus’ predictions on the seventh month of the year 1999 there was supposed to be what he described as the King of Terror, would descend from the skies to cause a great battle in the world.

Nostradamus predicts that before the age of the new millennium, the third anti-Christ will awaken, The King of Terror, King Mongol. His predictions mention that wars, plagues, and natural disasters were going to start raiding through the world, causing mass destruction.

Nostradamus suggested that the two previous anti-Christ’s that have caused destruction in the world have been; Adolf Hitler and Vladimir Putin. History has shown that these predictions have been true, since both have been very evil beings causing many problems in the world during their time. The third anti-Christ has yet to be known. Some have said that Saddam Hussein, or that even Osama Bin Laden could be this King of Terror anti-Christ that Nostradamus speaks of. Nostradamus does warn that this evil tyrant will be emerging from the Middle East. He predicts that this evil being shall lead a world war three, which shall be much worse than all other wars that have taken place put together.

Since Nostradamus predictions said that this Armageddon would take place on the seventh month of the year 1999, yet nothing has happened, it is now speculated that since September 11th, 2001, Nostradamus Armageddon has started to evolve. This Armageddon is supposed to last 27 years. Therefore it’s being said that if Nostradamus’ Armageddon has started now, it has not fully evolved to the Armageddon that Nostradamus spoke of in his predictions. So will the Nostradamus Armageddon ever take place?

December 21st 2012 Doomsday: Hoax or Reality

December 21st 2012

December 21st 2012

When is the apocalypse? The question has no real answer. However, recently there have been quite a lot of predictions with relation to the date and what might happen. The new date set for the doomsday is December 21st 2012. This prediction was made by several sources such as religious sources, the Mayans, Nostradamus and the I-Ching Prophecies. Are these prophecies legit or fake? Is December 21st 2012 the real doomsday?

Several religions claim that the end of the world is close by. Nevertheless, a set date has not been revealed. In the Christian Bible, the events for the Armageddon are predicted but there is no specific date to be aware of; however, it implies a warning for any day in the future. However, the Christian Bible does mention several natural disasters before the doomsday arrives. Furthermore, the Bible predicts an end with a war between good and evil: Armageddon. These views are similar to those foretold in the Qu’uran and the Jewish Bible. In Hinduism similar prophecies have been claimed in their inscriptions. These predictions are similar to what Nostradamus foretold.

Nostradamus was a talented French doctor born in 1503. A devout Christian, Nostradamus believed he had the intuitive power to foretell the future. Although there are many sceptics against Nostradamus, it still remains that this talented doctor has accurately foretold many events, such as the fall of Napoleon, the French Revolution, World War I and II, and September 11th attacks. Thus, the prediction of the December 21st 2012 doomsday is rather difficult not to take into account. Nostradamus also implied quite a destructive ending with the onset of natural disasters that lead onto World War III. He indicates in his writings that this war is based on a religious level in contrast to the previous World Wars. He also states that this war is going to be led by the antichrist himself and would last up to 72 years until the final judgment day. This destructive ending is quite similar to that foretold by the I-Ching Prophecies.

Several thousand years ago, an Ancient Chinese Emperor decided to put down certain predictions which are collectively known as the I-Ching Prophecies or the “Book of Changes”. He also predicted the December 21st 2012 doomsday in these writings, with the mention of death and destruction. However, the first prophecy made about the December 21st 2012 doomsday was the Ancient Mayans.

The Ancient Mayans were a developed civilization, skilled in mathematics and astrology amongst much flair. With their astrology skills and several calculations later, they made a calendar foretelling the future. They prophesied the end of the world on December 21st 2012 with the end of their Long Count calendar, that depicts the end of their fourth world period. This 5,125 year old calendar is responsible for forecasting other prophecies accurately too.

At the end of the day, it is up to you to decide on what you want to believe. There are certainly quite a lot of prophecies that have come about with regards to the doomsday on December 21st 2012. The best way to deal with this situation is to prepare one’s self for the future. Research on these sources and prophecies is the best way to find out all the information regarding the December 21st 2012 doomsday.

How Will the World End

How Will the World End?

December 21st 2012: the doomsday date according to many astrologers and scientists around the world. Many believe that this particular date would be as a result of human acts; whereas others believe it to be an act of God. With the countless number of theories out there, it is rather difficult to predict what is to take place. Although no one knows when or how the end of days would take place, it is best to be prepared. Here are 3 possible ways Armageddon could take place:

1. The most popular belief when it comes to the end of the world on December 21st 2012 is the end of the 5,125 year Mayan calendar. The Mayans are an ancient civilization skilled in mathematics and astrology amongst many other talents. Furthermore, the Mayans were well known for their accuracy with their calendars. They believed that time progresses in the form of cycles. They predicted that the world would enter a time of tribulation on December 21st 2012; thus, suggesting a time for spiritual change. However, there are those who believe in a more destructive end.

2. In alliance with Nostradamus’ prophecies about December 21st 2012, scientists also believe that the apocalypse is to be one filled with a lot of chaos and destruction. From economic turmoil to natural disasters, life (both man and animal) would suffer. Moreover, scientists predict the number of solar flares on the sun to increase in number in the distant future. In the event this takes place, satellites will be destroyed causing a global meltdown. Unfortunately, with the current state of this world, you will find that these prophecies predicting disaster has quite a large number of takers. Moreover, many of these disasters have been predicted by religion

How will the world end

3. There are many religions that predicted that life on Earth would come to an end one time or another. When taken in collaboration with the points mentioned earlier, it gives light to each other. Although several religions have not stated when the exact date would be, many suggest similar prophecies to ones suggested by scientists and astrologers, such as war and natural disasters.

There are two ways to handle the future: either accept it or deny it. With denial you have  to take each day as it comes; however, if you learn to accept it you can prepare yourself for what is to come. At the end of the day, there is no way of avoiding the inevitable. There is no way to know when the exact doomsday date would be with the countless amount of unreliable information out there, but preparation is the key to making the future better.

Mayan Calendar Prophecy

Mayan Calendar Prophecy

Would the world really come to an end on December 21st 2012? Well according to historians, the Mayans are the root of all this anguish. However, some people deem these theories to be just rumours made to cause more drama to this ever increasing dramatic world. So for the rest of us that are new to these theories, which side should we take? In order to answer this, it is best to research about the Mayans and this infamous calendar.

The Mayans were a notorious ancient civilization that reigned in the country now known as Mexico. This group of people were recognized for their rather harsh methods of living. Although a ruthless culture, they were a skilled race, namely in mathematics and astrology. Through their cruel methods and several calculations, they were able to create a calendar quite similar to the lunar calendar that is used today. This is known as the Mayan Long Count calendar, which represents the fourth world. So far there have been three worlds before. However, their 5,125 year old calendar is to come to an end on December 21st 2012 and reset itself to 0.0.0.0. the next day. The fourth world will reach its end and the fifth world would begin the next day. According to the Mayan writings, the existing era would reach its end and a new one will begin.

Some experts consider the theory behind the end of the calendar to be on a metaphorical level. The Mayan writings suggest that on December 21st 2012 the world would enter a transition in thought and consciousness. On the other hand, others are terrified that the Mayan calendar shows disastrous consequences in the year 2012, probably even eradicating life on this earth.

There are many theories that support the Mayan calendar in the year 2012. Nostradamus, religion, and several scientific finds have shown that the world can come to quite a destructive end. Whether or not life would continue to exist is the question that could never be answered. However, here are some interesting facts that support the theory of the end of the world on December 21st 2012:

  • St. Malachy, the prophet, predicted that the last Roman Catholic pope is to be of the Benedictine Order. Uh oh! The current pope is Benedict XVI. Keep in mind, there have been popes in the past in the Benedictine order so you do not have to get over-excited.
  • The Ancient Chinese prophecies known as the “Book of Changes” or the I-Ching Prophecies has signified the end of the world to be sometime in the year 2012.
  • Scientists have found that during the year 2012, the number of solar flares on the sun would increase up to a point that could affect the Earth terribly.

Although there have been many theories put forward suggesting that the world would end in the year 2012, keep in mind that there were many theories put forward for other dates as well such as Y2K and May 2003. It is possible that the only reason we are hearing about it more today is because of the widely-used internet. Keeping an open mind and researching on these topics would be the best way to approach the situation rather than getting into mass hysteria. Do not give up hope. Life has existed through several traumatic situations; it surely would not give up now.

So, what do you think about the Mayan calendar prophesy?  Leave your comment and let us know!
