How Will the World End?

December 21st 2012: the doomsday date according to many astrologers and scientists around the world. Many believe that this particular date would be as a result of human acts; whereas others believe it to be an act of God. With the countless number of theories out there, it is rather difficult to predict what is to take place. Although no one knows when or how the end of days would take place, it is best to be prepared. Here are 3 possible ways Armageddon could take place:

1. The most popular belief when it comes to the end of the world on December 21st 2012 is the end of the 5,125 year Mayan calendar. The Mayans are an ancient civilization skilled in mathematics and astrology amongst many other talents. Furthermore, the Mayans were well known for their accuracy with their calendars. They believed that time progresses in the form of cycles. They predicted that the world would enter a time of tribulation on December 21st 2012; thus, suggesting a time for spiritual change. However, there are those who believe in a more destructive end.

2. In alliance with Nostradamus’ prophecies about December 21st 2012, scientists also believe that the apocalypse is to be one filled with a lot of chaos and destruction. From economic turmoil to natural disasters, life (both man and animal) would suffer. Moreover, scientists predict the number of solar flares on the sun to increase in number in the distant future. In the event this takes place, satellites will be destroyed causing a global meltdown. Unfortunately, with the current state of this world, you will find that these prophecies predicting disaster has quite a large number of takers. Moreover, many of these disasters have been predicted by religion

3. There are many religions that predicted that life on Earth would come to an end one time or another. When taken in collaboration with the points mentioned earlier, it gives light to each other. Although several religions have not stated when the exact date would be, many suggest similar prophecies to ones suggested by scientists and astrologers, such as war and natural disasters.

There are two ways to handle the future: either accept it or deny it. With denial you have  to take each day as it comes; however, if you learn to accept it you can prepare yourself for what is to come. At the end of the day, there is no way of avoiding the inevitable. There is no way to know when the exact doomsday date would be with the countless amount of unreliable information out there, but preparation is the key to making the future better.
